My performance at work was starting to decline as I found myself constantly feeling tired. At times my energy levels were good and the next minute I would feel my eyelids start to get heavy. I started to feel embarrassed at work when someone would see this happen.
This has been happening a few months and I keep ignoring the truth...
I'm drinking at least 4 sodas per day. I eat 3 full meals with barely any vegetable servings. Being from Hawaii, my plates always have 2 scoops of rice and a scoop of macaroni salad which is covered in mayo and the choice of meat for that particular meal.
I work an average of 10 hours per day so I really haven't made time to exercise. I’m too tired after work and too lazy in the morning to go to the gym.
The Cause and Inevitable Reaction
I knew in my heart, I had to make a change. I was afraid.
The question I would ask myself was, where do I start? I was too lazy to exercise. I was always hungry. I love drinking sodas. I disliked vegetables.
I know I had to do something but I didn't have the will to make changes.
Imagine going to the bathroom 2-3 times in the middle of the night. Waking up to sore feet and feeling groggy.
Reminding yourself every morning that you will eventually need to buy bigger pants a few weeks from now.
It didn't matter how much water I drank, I would still feel constantly dehydrated.
Immediately right after eating, I was ready for a nap.
The worst part about my day is, I had a hard time breathing while I was going about my day and definitely while I was sleeping. Anyone who was next to me would let me know that I was snoring and had a hard time breathing, the minute I fell asleep.
I did some research online to see what symptoms were similar to me. The same thing you are doing right now. I came across this fact that 50% of Americans were diabetic. Diabetes is one of the fastest growing diseases in the modern world. Diabetes medicine was one of the most profitable products for pharmaceutical companies.
An American lifestyle put you at risk without trying. How do we beat the system?
How do I address these problems without medication?
I don’t like going to doctors or taking prescribed medication. Setting an appointment was difficult because I feel they don't really address the problem.
I went to the doctors because I was curious to know what was wrong with me. I had a feeling that my doctor was going to tell me that I had diabetes because of my lifestyle. Sure enough, he recommended me to take insulin to control my blood sugar levels. I declined medication and started looking for alternative answers.
I ended up looking into green smoothies. It was ok. I’m not a big fan of vegetables.
I got a membership to the gym. I didn't use it.
I cut down on my meals which helped a little but I still felt tired.
I was at the point where if I didn't make a change, my health could really take a bad turn. So I started researching alternative medicine. I felt that I wanted to try something that was more natural. It started to remind me of a time when I was younger and we didn't have the same types of medicines that we have today.
Old school remedies
I remember my mom putting an ointment white flower into my belly button every time I didn't feel well. That was the first remedy used before going to the doctors. If it didn't work then we would go see him.
I remember using the Aloe plant the first time I cut my leg. My parents were so resourceful and didn't overreact when things went wrong.
While surfing the internet. I stumble upon this website that talked about natural remedies. Specifically, they talked about Ashwagandha. While most herbs had a few things that made them unique. Ashwagandha has more than 12 benefits to this herb and amazing long term benefits if taken over a period of time.
I couldn't believe that these herbs have been used for thousands of years and somehow this information has been suppressed. How can an herb like Ashwagandha not more mainstream?. With the amount of social media available, why have I not heard about it until recently?
It changed my life forever...
It was the easiest way of changing how your body functions on a day to day basis. Have you ever seen a kung fu movie or any movie, where they crush some herbs into a bowl and give the person a drink and things start to work instantly?
This herb has so many benefits it was hard to believe at first. I didn't know there are super herbs as there are super foods that contain a lot of nutrients.
Once I found the information I’ve been looking for, I couldn't wait to get started and now its a lot easier to exercise, control my portions, and most of all cut the need for sugary drinks.
I highly recommend you discover this information about natural remedies. I’m 100% you will want to tell the people you love most about your recent discoveries. Click Here
